Here are scans from the official Nintendo magazine for Latin America called Club Nintendo. Back then, they weren't official yet though.
Most of the games on these scans got released, but some didn't. I don't know which ones are known or not, I leave that to you guys.
Oh yeah, the text is in Spanish, but as far as I know, it doesn't say anything relevant.

This is absolutely the best and most comprehensive CES coverage I've ever seen, but what's up with your scans? Why are there like, random pieces of Nintendo Power floating on top of some pages? Files 100-107 and 117 are the ones that are the most affected.
I'm not very well versed on SNES stuff, but I'm pretty sure I've never seen those Sylvester & Tweety screenshots anywhere else.
Rey, can you also tell me which issues these came from? I keep an archive of CES coverage for a project I'm working on. |

I tried to download it, but it's forcing me to take a survey.
Can anyone upload to a non-spamming filehoster? |

I'm going to put them on my Flickr account after Rey either fixes the pages or confirms that they look just like they're supposed to. |

It seems to me that he cut out pictures or something and we're seeing the next page, the Nintendo Power is probably because some early Club Nintendos had some sections that were "from Nintendo Power's archives".
Can you tell us which issues are they? I might have some of those or know someone who does |

KingMike:
Use Chrome or Firefox. On IE you get a lot of spam from sharebee.
TheRedEye:
Yeah, sorry for that. I had the bad habit of cutting out pictures of my magazines when I was younger.
The reason why there's Nintendo Power stuff in the scans is because Club Nintendo used to take the codes and secrets sections from NP and used them on their magazines.
As for the magazine numbers, I'll have to dig them up again. I was going to name the files, but I forgot and everything was uploaded by the time I remembered.
Before I dig them up, is there anything else you would like to see?
I have issues that cover shoshinkai too. I didn't scan those because (for me) the era N64 and up is pretty clear in my head and beta/unreleased stuff from that era is pretty well documented as far as I know. |

Hm. When I go through magazines for historically interesting information, I usually focus on the "news" section (if there is one), the previews (for unreleased games) and pretty much anything with a photograph, as there is a tragic lack of accessible photography of video game history. This coverage has literally the most photos I've ever seen of a trade show in a 1990s game mag, I'm really excited to see them. |

The magazine was pretty small, so there isn't much 'news' on it. Except for trade shows articles.
I scan the shoshinkai stuff then. |

Wow, a whole preview of Super Punch Out with the prototype main character... And was Freeway Flyboys ever released, by the way?
Also, it says "Bebe's Kids" was a too preliminary version for them to emit a verdict. |

Rey, don't forget to find out which issues they were from, if you can. Thanks! |

Only in Japan, as "Uchuu Race - Astro Go! Go!" or something like it. |

Impossible Mission 2025
Spellcraft
Exo Squad
The Shadow
Steve Seagal
Sylvester & tweety
Tarzan ( I've never seen those two pics )

No problem.
I also noticed that Konami showed Goemon 2 & 4 and Parodius on the CES. I wonder if they had any plans to bring those games over to the USA? |

If you consider alternate versions, supposedly ExoSquad was released on Genesis and Spellcraft for DOS. |

Johnny Undaunted let me know that there's an EGM2 with beta pics of Final Fight 3. I'll see if I have that issue too. |

On one Club Nintendo (probably an anniversary) it has an alternate Parodius cover for an issue, but they said they changed it last minute because it might get cancelled. |

I think I'm a fan of this magazine now, even though I can't read a word. Back then I preferred that magazines just show me all the games that are coming out so I could stare at the screenshots and daydream, which is probably why I gravitated toward EGM at the time. |
