Nathan Silvers just said he doesn't have the stuff anymore it seems. So.....the chances are getting thinner again.

Just remember, Epic's legal department is rabid. Remember when they tried to sue that artist for painting a doll for is sister that looked like Marcus from Gears?

And yes, beta hunting would most likely be considered illegal if it were ever tested in the courts. If nothing else it would be possession of stolen property

I don't remember that, but they sued even ID software back then for ripping the main characters idea (muscular guy with pale head and chick with pony tail) etc for Quake 2 from Unreal beta material etc. Unreal was supposed to have two characters at beginning. Well at very early versions only one, a female character, but they changed it to male and female choice and then during 1998 they made more player classes even.

About stolen property, Mark Rein was putting warning message for that against any leaked material (but he was also one of the guys behind the cancellation of this). But this is not a leaked material, I am attempting to make this release legally and after all it will be an addon for Unreal, so no fucking free stolen game here. The people who worked on it still have it. I have two other choices now, Jason Watkins and James Hamer Morton, unless someone else will be found who might have the stuff. Jason didn't reply to me again for almost a year, but he was excited and wanted to share it, but maybe he got scared off, or he is just busy, I recently found other email adress of him so I tried it again....but I suspect that Nick Pelling encouraged him against it, because I gave him his contact and Nick has not even spoken to me, he just stays all aside.

Actually, I have great news. Lots of the levels will be released, sadly not the whole project, but lots was found now by another level designer. There is still hope more will be released, but this is certainly better than nothing, in fact it is a lot.

Got some screens to tease:
