Someone has probably mentioned this to you before, but that FDS prototype about nobunaga looks suspiciously a lot like Inindo: Way of the Ninja by Koei for the SNES. Knowing how Koei likes to remake games over and over (not a bad thing cause I like koei games :p) and the well... almost nes like quality graphics of the SNES game itself, its possible Koei was working on the game for the FDS and then decided to move on to the SNES. Granted thats all bearing if that prototype is Koei's :p

So yeah, I threw in some speculation, but thats all I can offer ^^;;

Heh, nope, you're actually the first. I'd speculated that it might have been some Koei title, but I had nothing to back that up. I grabbed the game and played up through the first fight, and I can sort of see where you're coming from. Seems like a decent game, too. When I get the chance I'll have to play though it.

Do you know of any specific areas in Inindo that look like they could match up with the screens I've got posted for Nobunaga?

well doing a quick look, I think its Edo itself in Inindo, the capital at the time.

Lemme dig through the game when I have time, so tired @.@ and Inindo is like playing FF4 mixed with Nobunaga's Ambition.

Would be neato though if it actually was that, cause when you play Inindo, yer like, MAN this could have been a nes game.
