None of the links is to the rom, but the two snaps show all the difference between the usual World Super Mario Bros. dump (see e.g. bootgod's NES database, CRC without the header D445F698) and the 25th Anniversary version.
The resulting rom, again without header, has CRC 36C4BDB8 (and with a correct header it should be D1B6A766)
Not that it is really worth the effort, given they only modified the block graphics and the copyright line in the title... the gameplay is completely identical!!! |

How rubbish. They could have at least added a bonus stage or world. Anybody with a few minutes to spare can do a cheap tile hack... Heck, you can even do it on real HW directly to (FDS) disk with a handful of tools. 'Tis a shame that Nintendo didn't give it the same attention and treatment they gave to DK. :/ |

USA red Wiis didn't come with anything special. |

I hear you can (now?) get this game legally in North America on the 3DS, but it costs $30 and comes with a free crossword or art-teaching-thing eShop game. :P
(though said games will also be sold in physical form, Nintendo is using DKOE to bait you into paying the same price for digital) |

Is this rom out there yet? It's not at emu-russia. How would we get this rom out there to people? |

It has been dumped: https://tcrf.net/Donkey_Kong_(NES)
Check your PM.
And my apologies for no BB code URL link. When I use it, my post ends up blank. |

Well, there's already a working link or two in this thread already so I already had it. I went ahead and sent a e-mail to emu-russia tho, so hopefully they add the rom that way. |
