This is the cover we know:

Even Amazon and many eBay auctions are showing this cover, but I haven't found any evidence that this design got ever printed on a box.
Could it be a prototype cover? Any ideas on where did this come from and why has it spread so broadly?
EDIT: By the way, I've been playing through both versions just now and, after noticing the localization changes, I've found a little article that sums them up pretty nicely:

Now that's odd... But it could be a pirate/custom box, it's kind of fishy how he put that extremely high price just to disappear from eBay.
For the record, as far as I remember, Maru's Mission was never released in Europe. The copies I played back then were US imports. |
