Well that's unexpected. I'll have to keep my eyes on this. |

I posted this on Facebook and (tongue-in-cheek) said this was obviously early PR for a new game on Kickstarter, and Ste Pickford liked it.
Then I posted a reply saying that Ste's "like" must be a confirmation that I'm right, and both Ste AND John liked the comment.
So get your wallets ready re: that. |

The Pickford guys are pretty great.
Then again, I'm biased. TCRF pointed out some of their graphic grafitti in Equinox and they actually dug out the original art file just to make sure. |

I think they're cool because they listen to my podcast. |

I'm waiting for an Equinox webcomic myself. How hard can it be to draw a dozen hexahedra with felt-tipped markers? :) |

I'm wondering why Equinox has a whole unused STORYLINE in both Japanese and English. Were we supposed to be able to explore the towns that function only as the dungeon entrances?
(though I never passed the third dungeon, I found it doubtful there would be a large amount of text fitting for NPCs later on.) |

I don't know about towns, but the Bros. did want to put in a wise sage character to help you through the game. They couldn't add him in because they were way past their deadline, according to the interview I translated: http://www.chrismcovell.com/secret/sp_Solstice2int.html |

Script dump (both Equinox and Solstice 2 contain both the English and Japanese text).
Not sure if they meant to include a language select option, but there is text for it, as well as an option to name the character (which again, is probably only useful if they planned to have dialogue in the game).
Interesting stuff starts about 514E5.
