I highly doubt anyone cares enough to bother doing such things. The Game.com was a turd, plain and simple, best left to swirl down the toilet of obscurity.
I also doubt SotN and MGS would've had much of an impact, as they were probably nothing more than pretty-looking slide shows. |

(Don't) love that Sonic game for the Game.com :D
You're probably better off taking a picture of the thing while turned on, though if the world suddenly implodes it'll be on you for capturing a whole lotta evil in a really tight place. |

Pics are in the articles section. I own a Game.com and the pics are believable looking to me, but either way its best that it never came out for it. |
"Good news is, this means Konami just might start working on oldschool Metal Gear games for portable systems. Hopefully a fully translated port of the MSX versions of the first two titles. Meaning no more "I feel asleep" bullshit they called "English." But then, maybe Konami gave up after the Game.com. I hope not. Stupid Tiger."
Boy, I love illogical fanboy conclusions. Keep on whining, superstar, someday they'll hear you!!!
As for whoever said this would have "saved" the game.com...hahahaha. Have you PLAYED a game.com? The game would have involved sneaking through two, maybe three scenarios, and then it would end. There would be no story here at all. |

The only game I ever cared about owning for my game.com was duke nukem. The problem with wanting to get duke nukem for it was that no stores in my area ever had it (but they had plenty of copies of mortal kombat for it which ended up in the clearance bins)
Its was weird how tiger could show a very bad commercial for the game.com showing Duke Nukem (briefly) and yet I never could walk into a store and buy it (almost sure looking back on it that not getting the game may have been a good thing).
But there is no way that metal gear for game.com would have saved it. As redeye said it would be short and stripped of storyline due to limitations.
If Mortal Kombat cant sell your system to kids then your system is destined for the clearance bin (it will just have stacks of mortal kombat tossed in there with it) :P |

Maybe this game is what you are talking about? --> MGS on GBC |

Yep, Snake Soup has to be one of the most obnoxious and ignorant Metal Gear fansites I've ever visited.
Nevermind mind the fact that all of Game.com's sotware were nothing more than licensed products made by Tiger with the orignal companies having nothing to do with the actual development of them. |

You really don't get it, to be honest.
Stop caring what people are thinking about you, because, to REALLY be honest, I'm replying to your post and I don't even know what your username is. I would have to scroll down to check and I just don't care.
Have opinions and BE an asshole if you are one (and who gives a shit either way), just make what you post count. Just about everyone else here seems to be able to.
In summary: Quitter.
(Oh, and I guess I'll stop posting in this thread now. Thpt.) |

I guess that puts the autenticity of those MGS screens to shame. After all, they appeared out of nowhere and that's the only site that has them. |

Change of plans - I had a triple-meat and triple-cheese burger at Whataburger instead. It was pretty tasty. |

Actually, the screenshot are real. IIRC, they were originally from Tiger's Game.com website. |

Their fourms make me very sad. Hell, the only Metal Gear fourm that isn't filled with whiny fagtards that are masturbating to EVA/Big Boss/The Boss/Shagohod hentai and whining about Snake's Revenge is JunkerHQ's fourms. |
