This board has become too quiet, so let's make a bragging rights topic. Reply to this post with the rarest item in your video game collection. If your collection blows, then at least state your most treasured item.
I'll post what mine is after a few people respond to this. |

I've got a bunch of castlevania's still factory sealed. Greatist hits and orignal SOTN (apprently rather rare), chronicals, all 3 GBA ones, Castlevania Bloodlines, Castlevania 4, then I've got opened (in box) castlevania 2, 3, and both 64 ones.
I'm not really a castlevania fanboy, I've just had the chance to pirate them, then enjoy them enough to buy them but have no real ambition to open them.

Probably my Wolf Team Mega CD collection. It's still incomplete though (Devastator be damned). |

Besides prototypes? Let's see, I have a nearly-complete set of Sachen games, a Dr. PC Jr., and not much else. I got rid of most of the valuable stuff. |

For me it'd have to be my prototype of a certain unreleased Nes game. Not saying which one, though. You'll find out when it's dumped. |

My copy of Garou: Mark of the Wolves for the DC.
Laugh it off, but that thing cost me $10 - and it goes on Ebay for up to $100. And it's kinda rare, I believe, since Agetec never really had many copies of their games shipped. |

My rarest is my Final Fantasy for the MSX in near mint condition. Even the Disk 2 sticker isn't used (you're supposed to stick it to your Save Disk).
Damn it Skrybe, now I'm curious, can we have a hint as to what it is? At least what type of game it is, Action/Puzzle/RPG/Racing/etc... |

If I have anything rare at all, it'd be a Tetris Attack (SNES) store demo "Not For Resale" cart. |

Definitely my Legend of the Blob Bros. 2 cart. *huggles*
Er, on the fully licensed and legal side, probably my Gimmick! cart. Definitely not easy to come by.
Other highlights of my collection:
- Shrinkwrapped Legend of Zelda (though it *is* the re-release...)
- Shrinkwrapped Namco Ms. Pac-Man
- Bubble Bobble 2
- Complete King's Quest V
- Complete Rainbow Islands
- Complete Akumajou Densetsu (CV3J)
- Kirby's Block Ball (GB) store demo cart. Still has the "PROPERTY OF NINTENDO" sticker on the back. |

I have the PC Engine version of Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari (River City Ransom). Not exactly rare, but always overpriced whenever it shows on eBay.
I also have a pair of Metal Gear Solid Drama CDs, which aren't quite rare, but not easy to come by outside Japan either. |

The rarest stuff I have would probably be in my NES collection. I've got around 250 games, including Caltron 6-in-1, Action 52, Tengen Tetris, Fire 'N Ice, all the Lolos, all the Dragon Warriors except 3, etc.
I've also got some rental-only semi-rares, like Clayfighter: Tournament Edition and Final Fight Guy for SNES and Indiana Jones for N64. |

I dunno how rare it is, but I'm proud of my "Lost Levels Challenge" patch that I earned from Nintendo Pravda... Hrm, rare... I've got YOKO's SFII for the FC complete with the manual and box.
Not too great, but most of my OMGWTID stuff is anime related. |

Well, my collection is kind of meager but I've got some sorta-rare stuff. Let's see...
[*] Factory sealed copy of Impossible Mission II (AVE)
[*] Famicom clone called "GB Turtle 1992 Computer Game FX-168" - Actually I don't have this anymore. I sold it to Memblers b/c he's programming some games and needed a Fami clone. But it's probably the rarest thing ever in my possession
[*] Various Fami multicarts and pirates. Highlights include a Kunio 4-in-1 (Pentarou's old one, not the one with Hockey Bu on it, though), that 42-in-1 with the two menus, a pirate copy of Arkanoid II, and a NROM Flash cart of Tokoro-San no Mamorumo Semerumo (YUCK!!)

Heh. It's what I believe is the final build (or the closest to final that was made) of a game that already has an earlier version dumped. It's not something totally new, but it's still very cool. |

Let's the rarest I probably have is Lunar:Silver Star Story complete for the PS One. I've also got SOTN in greatest hits form, Tobal no. 1, Valkyre Profile, Final Fantasy Chronicles (the Chrono trigger/FF 4 bundle pack for the ps one, A true must-have), and...lets see...is Thousand Arms rare? |
