Heres a cartridge I found on google. I hope this gets a write up on Lost Levels some day. And this did apparently come out for the Amiga in 1991.

That's just a picture of a repro cart with the older, less complete ROM. |

I think "frank is lazy" was the now and forever punchline to that story. |

You managed to get that interview done when this was still active? I am looking forward to reading it, maybe on mainpage? |

I tend to post such things on my own website.
Then again, I am not an official Lost Levels staff member. |

ARGG.. I made that label for carts I sell on www.nesreproductions.com. That web site stole my label and is now using it (luckily, at a much lower resolution then the one I offer).
P.S. There's 2 version of this game. The internet one (which is not very complete) and the much more complete one (but PAL version, so the audio sounds fast on an NTSC system). Both are offered on www.nesreproductions.com |

Actually, that label that you "made" had been designed years before your site even opened. |

Which one of these is the newest/most complete version?
Hero Quest (E) (Prototype)
or
Hero Quest (U) (Prototype) [!]
Are there any other versions found or available? |

The European one is far more advanced, just be sure to set your emulator to PAL so that the music is timed correctly. |

Too bad they can't somehow be combined. I really liked the graphical interface of the US version better. Plus it also has some extra story/intro text before you pick a quest.
Is the European version the latest know version? Or is there something more complete out there? |

Those are the only two I know of. I didn't know there were differences beyond the U.S. version just being flat out broken...maybe the U.S. build is technically later, and is broken because it's a work in progress? |
