I found this very interesting snes game in a big proto lot I bought today.
Whirlo, it works on my us snes and it was the label -sns ''whirlo'' (tent.) 90% complete namco. Stickers on chips also show snes (not sfc).
Game is completely in English.
Was this ever announced for a US release? |

Not that I know of, though there is a European version in English. Congrats, that's a great find! |

It's also a great game, though really frustrating in many spots. Who knows why Namco never released it in the US? |

Never knew Whirlo Was planned for release in the US. (Unless its a European proto.) Too bad Namco didn't go through with it, as its a decent game. Though yes some segments in that game can get very annoying.
One thing I'd like to ask though, does the main character have an angry look on his face? The original Japanese release had him with a regular expression. The European version for whatever reason, lowered his eyebrows so he always looked kind of pissed. |
