So I end up with this GBA ROM that says it's Harvest Moon Friends of Mineral Town. Upon booting it up, it's a (Korean?) pirate with said game on it (I think I didn't play it much) and about 120 other games. All of which are NES. And a lot of which are hacks and/or Pirate originals.
Some of the pirates are easy to identify, like Pockeman Silver is a sprite hack of Little Nemo. Some of the others (especially the Pockeman games) I can't seem to figure out. So I was hoping some of you might be more adept at this sort of thing.
Also neat, an old Spooky Kids hack is on here. Can you find it?

While trying to mash the damn thing into letting me get past the title screen on the first Pockemon game, I somehow pulled up a menu for something called PocketNES. Does this mean it's basically a ROM of an emulator package? That's kinda trippy. |

It's open source, so Hudson Soft, Jaleco, and pirates alike have been having a field day using it for GBA compilations of NES games. |

Out of curiousity, has any kind of pirate/unlicensed scene dealing with titles that aren't 100-in-1s appeared, or is it still too expensive/too risky for such? The GBA was fairly dear to me, and I'd love to experience new yet terrible content. |

as far as I'm aware, that sort of thing pretty much died with the GBC. I once saw a GBA game in Turkey called "Star War 3" which is apparently an original game, but it's just a space invaders clone... and that's about it. |
