Some time ago, I scanned some screens of an unreleased game called Feel for the SEGA MegaDrive, whose main character was replaced before the game was finally released as "Ristar" (which still has a couple of leftovers, by the way).
Since I've never seen any more info on this game besides what I've uploaded at my site, I was wondering if anybody has heard of it before, or if it was just announced in Europe.
Some of the pics appeared in at least two different Spanish magazines, so it's not likely that they ever had a working copy of it (maybe one of those image slideshows, but I doubt it).
Here's the screens I'm talking about:

You know that game would've been sujected to so many "innuendo" jokes if it had kept that title.
Anyway that's pretty interesting. I'm always fascinated by early versions of video games. |

Yeah, I don't think a game called "Feel" could stand a chance in the States. Might work in Europe.
I do like the little flame guy better than Ristar, though. |

I agree. If you can put aside your manliness for a while and stomach the cutesy crap, Ristar is a lot of fun. One of the better platformers I've seen on Genesis (and that INCLUDES Sonic) |

Aye. This is one I have been wanting to see dumped for a long time (probobly wont ever happen tho.) The final release of Ristar kicked so much ass its not iven funny. Character design and music were awesome, plus the gameplay was sooo memorable. |

yeah.. the character design kicked so much ass....;_;
it even influenced my art a bit...
the best thing about this game is that the gameply is so unique...it can never be reproduced in 3d... so in its basicness... NO CRAPPY REMAKES!!
i love you ristar!! |

If Sega made a cabinet version, they could call it "Arcade Feel". ^_^
Seriously though, cool pics! |
