I've had one of these for a while, but all of a sudden it refused to boot any games, does anyone know if this is common dead battery behavior or if it is permanent? |

If it is indeed a dead battery, I believe the CopyNES has a function to rewrite the code, so you're not completely SOL. |

Mine started doing this too. Kev Horton looked at it, was able to dump the Bios and the SRAM off of it...said it worked fine. I dunno. I just couldn't get mine to work any more. I didn't ever quite figure out mhy mine wouldn't work. I must say, though, I haven't tested it since he gave it back. Maybe he just had the magic touch.

So that means I probably have to send it to someone and see if they can fix it, guess I'll just list it on ebay as non working |

Well, I kinda remember the board to GAR being a little thinner than most NES games... I woder if I tested mine now in my NES with the rebent contacts I would get it working fine.

You may be right, it stopped working when I took it out after having it for like 6 months inside my NES and putting it back in, I'll re-bend the contacts and try again. |
