No problem. I just want to find out the whole story behind the game.
I figured I'd give screens of a bunch of stuff to show all the wonders of the game, and what makes it so Metal-Slugish. I was going to post some more Engrish-tastic stuff with Bush and Bin Laden, but I got tired of playing it through the Screen Capture device. Meh, maybe in the future.
Oh, is there any demand for the "Hitek" logo screencapped?

Like most of humanity, I have no friggin clue where my old b/w Game Boy is. I think I left it at my parent's house when I moved out, so I'll dig through my stuff next time I'm there. |

Okay, found it. But it isn't working. I'll take it apart and clean the hell out of it. Maybe that'll help. |

If you really want it copied, I'm pretty sure I have that capability. |

Sorry, I was waiting to reply until I had the chance to test my stuff out. Turns out that my equipment can't do normal Game Boy games. So, I guess I'm out. |

I'm going to take a shot at this and guess not compatible, because I remembered something about GB/GBC carts (been so long since I played my original GB, I forgot).
GBC carts with mono GB compatibility were typically black with inward facing "Nintendo Game Boy" text (same shape as original GB carts).
GBC-only carts were typically clear with outward-facing "Game Boy Color" text, and were slightly larger than GB carts.
That was probably so that the power switch would not move over on original "brick" Game Boys (notice the notch in the corner of mono-GB-compatible carts), thus GBC-only games could not even be turned on.
Then again, this is a pirate cart we're talking about here. Who says they'll pay attention to standard cart design conventions? |

Damn, I can only dump GBA carts as well. I've been trying to dump my GBC Super Mario Brox. Deluxe cart for hours now, no luck...
I was so sure I could...now I can't dump a couple of GBC pirate games that I just ordered (Capcom Vs. SNK and Queen of Fighters) |

Looks like it, at least according to this page:
Quote: | 7. Transfer game data from GB GameJack to PC:-
Select “Dump ROM to file” in the “GB Flash ROM Tools” window and save the game file to PC. |

The dumper at my office is a GBC/GBA dumper, so I very well might be able to do it. |

There's also a Mark of the Wolves GBC game - I think there's still a copy on Yahoo Taiwan, it was in a lot of about 5 pirate GBC carts. |

Aww, not you too?
Not to get into a racial thing, but can you shed some light on why it is that SNK fighters are so frigging popular in Mexico? Is it just the abundance of bootleg MVS systems everywhere, or is it some deep-rooted psychological issue among the Latin community?
Or maybe you guys never got Capcom's fighting games over there and you just don't know any better... :D
Seriously though, it seems like these SNK fighters are easily the most popular games among the average Mexican gamer and I just wonder why. Incidentally, I was talking to a fellow on IRC last night whose name escapes me, but he freelances for a Mexican game publication - Anyway, apparently the magazine ran a negative review of KoF 2K3 a few months ago and has been getting bombarded with death threats and angry letters ever since. Some of you guys take your KoF seriously, huh? |
