Does anyone still have the pictures/scans of the unreleased English localization of the NES title, Castle Quest? The JP version (which was going to be released in English, but never made it) is markedly different from the US "Castlequest" - it's a chess-like strategy game. Kitsune mentioned some interface changes between the unreleased US proto and the Japanese game; I'd like to see them for myself. |

You might be interested in the Game Boy version of Castle Quest, which was released in the US. |

Wasn't there a thingy for this somewhere? Not an all out article, but at least a short thingy?
Also, Lakmir, I may know someone looking to do some translation stuff to keep in practice soon. I've directed her towards your site, so who knows if she'll get in touch with you or not. |

I wrote a little something on Castle Quest for my old site, if that's what you're thinking of. Mostly just an explanation of how to play, plus those Nintendo Power scans that Frank linked to. |

That must be what I was thinking of. This is a game I'd have wanted to own, if it had been released back in the day. |

Ya I was quite amazed at how cool the Game Boy one was when I decided to randomly download it one day. |

I'll keep my eyes on my email box. I'm sure I can find -something- that needs translating, even if it is suparobo stuff.
Also, thanks for letting me know about the GB version - I was aware, but it doesn't really hold my interest. (NES = poppy colors, ooooh. Yes, I'm a graphics whore, or at least a not-tiny-screen whore.) |

I grew up listening to nothing but Led Zeplin, ZZ Top, Pink Floyd and Ozzy...
Astley wasn't really on my radar... |
