While looking for videos of Famicom Pro Wrestling on Nico Nico Douga, I happened upon a promotional video for Genjuu Souseki, an unreleased strategy/RPG from Nichibutsu. I've uploaded it to YouTube for those of you without Nico Nico access (not that it's hard to register).

| Nice find. I remember seeing screenshots of this on Skrybe's old unreleased Nes games page. Interesting to see it in motion. |

The battles look intense and bizarre; epic monsters defeating mobs.
The lackluster graphics and inferior sound engine probably doomed this game.
They really should have fired their artist.
However the programming seems solid and innovative... It looks at least worth a play or two. |
