From what I've seen, Cheetahmen 2 has become a minor phenomenon in Japan. There's a lot of fan-made stuff out there, from music remixes to Mugen characters.

I'm not surprised. There are a lot of kusoge fans in Japan, and nothing better defines the term kusoge than Cheetahmen. Nevertheless, I can't describe in words how sad it makes me that this game actually has fans...

I think this image is worth a bump.

Is it bad that I can only recognize like half the characters?

I probably wouldn't recognize Spelunker guy if he didn't wear a tag. :)
