Over the last few days, i've been posting various concept art and renders from different games. I thought you guys might be interested. I'll keep posting them for a while, i'm not likely to run out anytime soon.
These are very unsafe for 56K, BioShock alone has 10+ mb of jpegs.

Test Drive Unlimited

It's amazing what you can find when you start asking around. Someone gave me the first press kit for halo 1. Pics are from March of 2001 running on prototype Xbox hardware.

I have a boatload of concept art from Starcraft: Ghost, 59 pieces to be exact. I have a ton of screenshots from a couple of different builds too, i'll be posting those later.
These are by no means safe for 56k.

PS2 vectorman shows how NOT to reinvent a character. As the link says, he's pretty much like Bomberman zero. |

speaking of, i always thought Bomberman Zero was intended as a parody of the typical "Xbox game" (particularly as viewed from a japanese perspective) - did the world's press just miss the point entirely, or am i giving hudson too much credit here? |

There is not a trace of irony to be found in Act Zero. I really wish that was the case, though. Maybe if you beat the game Bomberman gives Master Chief a high-five or something. |

I'm with Sardius on this one, Act Zero had no trace of irony at all. For a good look at an "Ironic" game from a japanese developer, look at God Hand.
Fun Fact: I forgot to mention this when i posted the images, but Sony refused to give the game a Title ID. Which basically means they refused to certify, or even begin to process the game for their system. Generally when a console manufacturer refuses a game that early on, the game is absolute garbage from even a conceptual basis.
I can explain the process a bit better if that doesn't make any sense... |

How is that Vectorman? It looks like a shitty halo knock off. |

Speaking of shitty halo, did anyone else know that Halo was playable on the PS2? There's actually a slim chance i may be able to get my hands on a copy. |

I thought I had read somewhere that Bungie had never gotten Halo to run on the PS2 in the first place. Maybe it was just one of the employees talking smack or something. I don't know. My interest has definitely piqued since you've mentioned otherwise, though. |

It wasn't running well, but it did run. From what i've been told, it was pretty similar to what was running on the mac, only not so good. I'd put my chances of getting my hands on it at about 20%.
Concept art from propeller arena. Someone asked for it.

I think I remember hearing that at some point on some video from bungie but I can't remember. I guess if Oni had done better Halo would have ended up on the PS2. I wish you best of luck on getting your hands on a copy of it.
BTW
Wasn't it also planned for the Dreamcast? |

Final Fantasy VII high rez concept art:

I could actually render this out bigger if anybody wants to try to translate the text. It's all stored in a vector format. It's just kind of a pain in the ass to work with.
EDIT: added a few more pics |

That's a burst of nostalgia I wasn't expecting. Final Fantasy VII production art was the first game-related stuff I ever saw online. I remember carefully typing in Gamefan.com's address and waiting a minute for the pictures of the vampire and the lion-thing to load. |

I've been in touch with some of the guys from Ensemble Studios, this is the first of what i hope to be several articles on the concept art from that studio.
