Found this while skimming through some random reading material;


This is from the 29th of Oct. 2004 (iirc) Capcom Special of Famitsu (you know, the one everybody in the universe bought at least fifty copies of 'cause it had a playable Biohazard/Resident Evil 4 demo)

What you see there is a tiny blurt that apparently claims there's a GBA version of Power Battle Fighters (the compilation of Power Battle + Power Fighters).

Quick search on it shows that the PS2 compilation was released on the same date as suggested in that article (and at the same price) (Japan had a stand alone budget release - US/EU got it as part of the Anniversary Collection)

The official site (for the PS2 version) also shows one of the same screenshots as seen in that scan too (Mega Man vs Guts Man).

I'm guessing it's just an accidental slip on Famitsu's end, putting a GBA icon there instead of a PS2 one (haven't had the article translated by anyone yet either), but just figured I'd drop it here in case anyone else might know something I don't. After all... this is Capcom... they port stuff left 'n' right and in all shapes and colors. And at the time, especially if it was MegaMan related. You know, for the whole anniversary deal (which also featured another unreleased GBA compilation.)

Those shots are at 4:3. They're PS2 shots; the GBA screen is slightly wider than 4:3.

Probably just a misprint, but if it ever existed there are no screens of it.
