I remember seeing screencaps posted here a long time ago of an 8-bit rendition of GTA 3 made by Brian Provinciano. He vanished not too long ago. Like, all his websites became dead links and I couldn't figure out where he ended up.

EDIT: Did a little more digging, and it turns out that Brian took his technical know-how and started developing Retro City Rampage. Do you guys know about this?

I saw an interview with an in-depth look at this in one of the latest Nintendo Power issues. I was reminded of the GTA de-make project when I looked at the screenshots. Guess I know why.

The game's a very nice throwback to the 80's/90's in general. There's one portion that basically lifts the original NES TMNT's dam level, only you're the one planting bombs this time. Plus a "Circle R" convenience store, with Bill & Ted would-bes screaming "DUDE!"

I'd say it's well worth the 80 Microsoft points ($1), look at how much enjoyment Frank got from dancin' time.

I think Kissy-Poo has the Dancing Time market cornered, we just can't compete with that $1 price point.

Well, Looks like it's time to collaborate and have a brainstorming session.

Maybe Dancing time with Wii-Motion Plus, that'll really steal Kissy Poo's thunder. However, they could retaliate with Kinect Dancing Time.

This could take the industry by storm just like the Guitar Hero/Rock Band fad and we're the pioneers.

But think of the market Kissy-Poo hasn't tapped into. Think of all the people who want to do a little dance (because it's dancing time) without having to kiss animals!

KissyPoo contains copyrighted, patented and Emmy winning singing and our lawyer will be more than happy to send DCMA notices to anyone writing a game containing any of the letters D A N C I N G T I M E in any order, anywhere in the game..

Not really Wink As one of the guys responsible for Kissy Poo I saw the thread on my google search and felt the urge to post. Hope those of you with little kids enjoy it and hope none of the rest of you are crazy enough to buy it. But if you do we thank you and whatever it is you are smoking...

If I was a toddler watching this, I'd probably have nightmares. No offense. Maybe you guys' work will become a popular meme.
