I recently purchased the Police Academy box set, and while doing some research on the movies themselves, I came across this little snippet:
"Anyone know about the interactive video game they made between 4 & 5 and ended up shelving? It was called "Police Academy - In Training" was shot on 35mm and starred many of the original cast members."
So, my question is, does anyone know about this? Sounds pretty intresting (yet knowing "interactive" video games, bad.) If it was made before 4&5 that would put its date around 1987. |

So asides from the unreleased-due-to-possible-copyright-violation NES game, there's this one? |

Apparently. So far I haven't been able to come up with any leads on it. |

Wow, interesting.
1987... if it was interactive, then maybe it was kinda like Mad Dog McCree... I do remember reading about some systems used in real police training, which were basically Mad Dog McCree games, but which used two or three screens at a time. Maybe they mean that kind of system? |
