i've been fascinated by the obscurity of NES games, but none more than this one, since i hear its been fully completed and ready for the market yet at the last minute was put down.
i wonder if a prototype exists, just not found yet? it'd be awesome to finally see a rom of this one, someday  |

I can tell you right now that we neither have a copy nor are aware of any being out there.
I can also tell you that Bio Force Ape is a game that I have personal vested interest in, and therefore will do my damndest to find. |

yeah, and unlike california raisons, this heavily hyped game has left virtually no traces since its initial pre release in those magazines and stuff. at least we knew where the CR proto was, but not this one. i must say its become quite a mystery, that nothing at all has ever showed up but it will be something to see *fingers crossed* |

We actually had no idea where the California Raisins proto was. Brandon (who I saw register on this board...say something, asshole!) kind of came upon it on a fluke. |

I remember thumbing through my old NP's and running across Bio Force Ape. For some reason it reminded me of the SMS game Wolfchild. |

Strong evidence that a complete proto of Bio Force exists, (Or existed) is in an issue of Nintendo Power, it was said the game was completed, but Seta chose to cancel it. I don't recall what issue it was though. |

i think its issue #70
if the prototypes exist they may be with the original game developers only, same thing goes with Ultimate Journey, that game looks like it would kick series booty : P |

Issue 70? Wouldn't that be well into the last strong year or two of the SNES? |

Got NP #70 right here. March 1995, with NBA Jam TE on the cover. No NES information (this was after Wario Woods, Nintendo's last approved NES game was released). |

I don't have my vast Nintendo Power collection with me at school, but check your issues from 1991-92, it should be in one of those. |

A cursory glance at the issues I have reveals Bio Force Ape listed in the Pak Watch "coming soon" list at the back of every issue until 38, so the cancellation explanation would probably come in an issue after that one. |

The thredcromancy is kind of fascinating in this case. Seven years ago, I never would have imagined BFA would have surfaced.
Still, kill the spambots. |

I thought somebody here bought an Aigina's Prophecy prototype years ago and was going to share the ROM.
I wonder what happened? |

You're thinking of Tootai. He's got a proto, and wants to repro it. He said he'd release the rom after selling the repros. |
