Was a big fan of TheRedEye.net, actually PLAYED to finish the insane bootleg shit that was posted there, then followed Frank's work here to finally be able to play The California Raisins.
So much that was lost, even things that hardly anyone even knew was lost, has been unearthed. Secret Ties, Taro's Quest, Sunman, the English rough draft of the real Final Fantasy II, fucking BIO FORCE APE!
Oh yeah and there was Pescatore. Man I feel bad about writing that piece... but I'm still glad to have played a small, very minor role in this website.
Here's to 10 more years! And maybe, just maybe, someone can finally find Yeah Yeah Beebiss I and Duelin' Firemen. |

Crazy. I hate to even think about how long it's been since I helped start Vertigo and play a part in getting much of this crazy "NES skene" going, and I'm probably glad I don't remember the date if it's already been ten years for LL. I know I never did a whole hell of a lot in regards to LL since there just wasn't much I could contribute, but I'm definitely proud to say I may have had some tiny part in it overall, even if it was just because I had become known as that dude with the neat site full of roms, info and snarky reviews that several had flocked to. Still, LL is what us Vertigo guys had always wanted to do and were never really able to (though we did dump the Earthbound proto, though obviously that was a net-wide effort, and I think a couple of protos of released games).
So congrats guys, and Frank especially, for making this dumbass little idea turn into what it did. #fefea 4 life. |

If you're talking way way back to the ABEN days, that was 1994ish. So, like almost 20 years. |

Thanks for making me feel old now. Has it really been that long since I've been keeping an eye on all of this? |

Anyone remember that website that released a Tiny Toons pirate that was a heavily hacked Tiny Toons 1 game? Or the one that extracted a more complete SMW NES pirate from a multcart? I'd like to keep an eye on that website again, unless that is the one you guys are talking about. Which sounds like it's no longer around. |

Think you're referring to CaH4e3's page. See the "FAMI Dumping project" link in the sidebar. |
