At a price ... a very high price, I was speaking to a seller of 0.1 and 0.5 prototypes of Bloodlines , which are very different to the final - obviously the actual cartridges will cost ridiculous money but he mentioned he'd sell just the roms for £5000 for 0.1 and £2,500 for 0.5 - Anyway , I don't really know how these things work, but if anyone wants to do crowd raising or is rich enough to just pay the guy they're out there ...
As a sidenote a proto sold a few years ago for £1000 which is likely the same as version 0.5 with a nazi airship level and other things not in the final |

That's currently US$6521 and $3260.
I think Frank turned down Socks the Cat for that price range.
And well, Socks was an unreleased game that is probably only really notable for its bizarre license.
This guy's prices sound a bit unrealistic.
For a variation of a released game, maybe $500-1000 is more likely for a crowdfunded ROM release?
(I'm aware there's at least some significant differences.) |

Sounds like the guy's intentionally pricing them to be unavailable, quite frankly. |

i rarely log in but PMed you
He has a load of stuff for sale most of which seem to be final evaluation copies and all the prices are frankly crazy - - So yeah I think he's just testing the water to see if anyone is desperate enough to bite... I'm guessing he must have had some sort of industry related job to have the volume of stuff he had. I can't see anybody paying the amount he wants for the actual physical cartridges ....
On the positive side at least he seems to have backed them up so at least they are preserved even if they never make it out to the public. |

Anything that is in the possession of a single person is not "preserved". |
