Soo...
I didn't know 'til recently that this little gem of a game was supposed to have a sequal...

And ironicly, the subtitle truly lives up what happened to this bogger...
It truly got lost :-/

IGN wrote:
The sequel to the award-winning PC title Outcast, Outcast 2: The Lost Paradise resumes the adventures of the heroic inter-dimensional Cutter Slade as he's thrust into the middle of a massive conspiracy plot between the two world of Adelpha and Talan. Featuring character models made up of more than 8000 polygons each and a soundtrack by the Moscow Symphony Orchestra, Outcast 2 also boasts six different weapon types, several expansive environments, and a gameplay mechanic similar to the Tomb Raider series. Unfortunately for fans of the previous title, Outcast 2 was cancelled near the end of its development when its developer, Appeal, went bankrupt and halted production on all of its projects. A PC version was also planned.

Shame...

The first one had some really impressive visual effects when it was released back in 98/99.

Lots of hype about it while it was in production, but when it finaly came out, it just vanished from the surface of the earth... unfortunatly.

Funny though, the Official Website is still updated daily with 'screenshot of the day'
