Here's a promotional video for TurboGrafx and TurboDuo. Nothing to rank with Johnny Turbo, but it's entertaining to hear them pitch every game with a different accent ("save dis city and YO GURL").
The GAME OF MYSTERY is mentioned at the end, when the announcer enthuses about the system's future releases, half of which never came out in America. Spriggan and Rayxanber III (spelled "Rayxamber III" in the video) were Japanese shooters, but I have no idea what "Dangerous Dimension" was. DigitalPress has Dangerous Journeys as a rumored title, and I assume they're the same thing.
There's no further record of the game online, so I can't tell if it was an original Western-developed title or, in the more likely case, a renamed Japanese release.
But hey, maybe they'll put it on the REVOLUTION OMG. |
