I've realized that i'm aquiring betas at a faster rate then i'm posting them, and in order to clear out some of the backlog I'm going to put up a new article each day for the next week.

Hopefully before the end of the week i'll figure out how to make my capture device thingy do video, we'll see...

We're starting the week off with a bang, an early alpha of what's imho the best Xbox game out there, Ninja Gaiden. This alpha dates from 2002, two years before the game was finally released.

Wow, I didn't know the game was being worked on for so long.

It's a shame that it doesn't seem to have a built-in level select (have you tried different button combinations in the second game pad?), but if it ever gets released I bet somebody will find a way to play some other unfinished levels.

I'm sorry, i can't make out what you're saying over the sound of my own ego... = P

Day 2 is up, Street Fighter EX3. A preview disc given out to Japanese media to get them hyped over the PS2 before it launched... Maybe they should have picked a better game?

Prince of Persia 4 is up next. And no, i'm not exactly sure what other 3 they're refering to, although i seem to remember playing the original prince of persia on an ancient Mac...

Watermark free for her pleasure.

Barbies Horse Adventure sounds like a beta for DOA Extreme volleyball.

Another day, another beta...

Mech Assult for the Xbox Beta Live system. Not only is the game a beta, but it will only run on beta hardware.

Meaning it's not meant for you. And yet video game magazines will still review it from the perspective of a HARDCORE G4M3R and give it an awful score, rather than admitting that the game is appropriate for its target audience and is a good buy for a parent.

(to be fair, every other Barbie game I've played is dogshit in a box designed to fool parents into spilling money on to a Wal Mart counter, but Horse Adventure is a-okay)

I should probably mention that this particular build has a debug option to make barbie walk around without any clothes on...

I had the disc out on monday, but i couldn't find it last night. When it shows up i might take some shots. Depends on how pissed i think mattel might get when they see pics of naked barbie riding a horse...
