Nice, does any one know why they didnt release the xbox with the side winder I remeber reading it in a mag a long time ago that the Xbox came with a side winder and something else. |

I remember MS saying that, but i think that was just an attempt to describe the Xbox controller. Here's a pic of the first prototype controller they gave to the developers:

It was called the 'hammerhead' and was made by interact (strangely enough).
The electrical wiring and USB device ID match that of the final controller. So much so that you can you can just use a usb converter to hook up a retail controller on the alpha units. |

Yeah I remember seeing a pic of that some where. I remember there were so many rumors about the xbox, that it could play every game on every system ever made LAUGHING OUT LOUD. I remember when xbox was just a name and they had no idea what it was going to be, and now im playing one. Its just hard to beleive that my life is going by so fast. |
