the Sacred Grove seems much darker in this version. not just because of the quality of the video - i mean the atmosphere of the game. the skeleton warriors and undead dogs. part of this video was seen in the 2nd trailer for Zelda TP, the one from Game Developers Conference 2005.

About midway through this video, you see Eldin Bridge ruins but there are rows of torches lit up, not seen in the final game.

Zelda Twilight Princess went through countless changes -- there are so many things seen in the offical trailers, gameplay videos, official screenshots and magazine scans that are either not seen at all in the final game, or changed significantly. too many to list.

There was an hour long panel at Comic Con 2005 devoted entirely to watching someone play through a then-current demo build of Twilight Princess, and I'm real damn sorry that no one was around to tape or even write about it. I only caught the tail end myself, which featured a very different home town segment, and that first bridge duel sequence, which played out more or less how I remembered it in the final game.

In the first video you posted, maybe you didn't notice, but Link's animation is different on what looks like every single move, up to and including his walk cycle.

I remember some French website had a 6 segmented video filmed from of some cinema screen, showing about an hour-ish of gameplay.

Might be the same video you're talking about@The Red Eye.

It was in English, showed the goat herding and some other stuff.

(I didn't watch all of it, but I did download it, so I might still have the entire thing somewhere on a DVD or something. Seem to remember each segment being about 100mb in WMV format, pretty okay quality)

[edit]
Found them.
Okay, they weren't all 100mb-ish, actually, only the biggest one was that big.

The videos were from Jeuxfrance (or atleast tagged by them).

I can spot many cosmetic changes.
Dates for the videos I have is 20th of May 2005.
So I guess this is probably from E3.

Looking through some of it real quick, it seems like everything about the Twilight stuff was taken out from the E3 demo from 2005. (Probably to avoid spoiling stuff).

Can you put them on megaupload or mediafire to share with the rest of the class?

Okay, here are the videos, I'll keep them up for the weekend.
Please don't spam this link around, as Dot50Cal is my host, and I'd rather not have him curse at me over the phone over how someone's raped his server bandwith.

Linkety link

So yeah, if someone feels like uploading a mirror, that'd be excellent.
The sooner I can take this down, the better.

And Jurai, is this the same as you have ? +check PM~

Someone else could do it after downloading it !

That way, I wont sit around bothering the World of Warcraft fanatics on the same network as me.

You could just torrent it with a low upload.. but ok. bt is probably the easiest-to-manipulate file sharing ..thing ever.
