Apparently a friend of mine has had the E3 2004 build of The Red Star sitting on his shelf for the last 3 years. I, of course, stole it from him and put up some shots on my site. I've been told that the Xbox version has been officially canceled and the PS2 version has yet to go gold, so i dunno what's going on there. I was kind of surprised the game plays like a shoot-em-up.

Interesting -- I wonder how much (if anything) will change for the soon release of the PS2 build.

Also,

But, it did see the light of day, with a PAL release that many consider unfinished. Basically they rushed it out the door even though it wasn't done yet. You can track this down with minimal effort.

I did not know that, thanks.

Fuck.

This is one of my favorite comics, I think i may need to get my hands on this. Even if it's terrible like I fully expect.

10,000 Bullets (the European version of Tsukiyo ni Saraba, a completely unrelated PS2 game by Taito), is commonly confused with 100 Bullets. just saying.

I certainly can't find any evidence that 100 Bullets was released in PAL regions - just a few vague mentions on sites that probably all copied off each other.

I'm having a hard time believing it myself, considering I literally lifted a burn from an Acclaim QA desk, which was probably one of the last builds ever burned, and it's nowhere near finished.

Yeah, either IGN copied the wiki, or wiki copied IGN... but i don't think that game came out anywhere.

Well, sorry for the confusion. If it was just on wiki I wouldn't have said anything, but finding it on IGN (should've known better) as well as seeing (mislabled) torrents for it I assumed it was actually released.

This Friday!

Buy it! Reserve it! Reserve two! Needlessly get your hopes up and then sob with despair when it's pushed back YET AGAIN!

EBGames.com says it's shipping next Tuesday (which makes more sense because don't all games ship on Tuesdays? Like a rule?)

I no longer have an Xbox, but wasn't this game leaked a long time ago? I don't remember that title screen, but I thought I had played it.
