I am looking through some old Nintendo Power magazines, searching for unreleased snes game info, and I ran into Mr. F-X-It. It is in the March 1993 issue, and was in development by Sunsoft. The part I am puzzled by is that they say it was a "promising NES that never made it to market". Does anyone know what the NES title was?

Mr Gimmick was released in Europe and Japan.

But hey, SunSoft titles could always be fun if something old and yet new shows up

True, but Evan would be reading an American copy of Nintendo Power, which may not consider other regions' releases, particularly if the name of the game is different. Gimmick! and Mr. Gimmick are released; but if "Mr. F-X-it" is the same game, it is still truthful to say "Mr. F-X-it is an unreleased game".

Also someone really needs to let me in on the joke behind that censor filter :p

Could you scan that?

I don't have the dvds that have the Nintendo Power scans with me right now. You could look up the Retromags scans and download the issue yourself if you wish to find out more.

I recall that issue. There's not really much to say beyond what Evan said. It was just a few sentances at the end of a preview of Duck Dodgers for SNES (or some other Sunsoft game. Maybe it was Aero the Acrobat). Back then, NP would often end a preview giving mention of some of the publisher's other games.
