I think this thread is as good as any to make my first post to. I'll keep it brief.
Awesome to see protos still getting released. If not to spite those Beverley Hills hoarders, if not to show what could have been, then to preserve what'll be lost to bitrot otherwise. It's all good!
Unfortunately I don't have protos or much else of my own; I'm in Australia so there's only crap here, because we only made a few good games. I think the only thing I have of note is some wierdass Game Gear SF2 ripoff where Guile is named Tile or something instead, and all the other names are equally hilarious/stupid. That one was the most memorable. Last I checked - some years back - it wasn't dumped (there was another GG SF2 ripoff I think which was). Haven't seen it on SMS Power or anything. Can't remember the details, I moved six months ago and some stuff is stored at my parent's - my Game Gear is a bit buggered anyways.
Is this game dumped? If not, I'll happily send it off to someone, or get some hardware to dump it or something. I swear, the world is missing out if doesn't have this version of an extremely crap game...I think. I'm more concentrating on trying to dump some undumped, "rare" commercial Commodore 64 stuff at the mo, so... |

Hmm, I think you might want to ask over the SMS Power Forums. They might know if that specific game has been dumped already (since most of the obscure game dumps came from there, mainly). |

And yes, it's been dumped. |

I'd just like to take this opportunity to say once again that this is the greatest shitty pirate game ever. |

Yeah, that's the one.
I still like that shitty NES SF2 780-peoples one or whatever where Robert Garcia is named "Lobaut" more though. Just because that's what the announcer sounds like he's saying in the early KOFs. And "Treey" is pretty cool, too. |

Was that the one with Mario in it?
One of my favorite Pirate fighting game is Tekken 2 for Nes. |

If it was the one with a ugly purple-and-white (IIRC) elarged SMB3 Mario sprite, I thought it was a Mortal Kombat. |

They're all shitty, so they're all the same game to me. For some reason I think the one with Mario in it is "World Heroes 2", even though it isn't really World Heroes 2. I had the misfortune of loading it up recently, whatever it was.
The one with Treey and Lobaut would either have been a fake Fatal Fury or one of the fake KOFs, I guess. I could easily load them up to find out, but I have no intention of doing so! |

World Heroes 2 does have Mario in it, but I think the one with the stretched SMB3 sprite is a Street Fighter game. The one with Treey/Lobaut is KOF '98 for the Mega Drive though. |
