Thanks for dumping a new Snes proto! BTW I love your site! I have been going to it since I was like 9 or 10 years old. I'm 18 now. |

Is the Hero/story mode locking up for anyone else?
I find it rather strange that such a bug would exist, since the only difference between the Japanese version and the US version is that the opening/ending texts have been edited and the names of most places/characters have been changed (which is odd in itself, since everything was in English in the Japanese version, and some of the Engrish was actually neat). If, as the names indicate, this is a prototype of the US version, then it's indicative of some really shoddy programming that there's now a game-breaking bug from just rewriting the game text.
(unless it's a bad dump?) |

Well the checksum isn't bad, so I supposed there's nothing wrong with rom... I could try dumping it again using another copier though. |

Where did I use a homonym? I'm confused. |

I hate to derail the joke, but "your/you're" is actually a homophone (words spelled differently & with different meanings but sounding the same).
A homonym would be eg: "cast", a word with one spelling but several different meanings, as a verb, noun, etc.
[edit]
Well, to get the side-splitting humour train running again: Ladies and gentlemen, another homophone!

And I hate to be ridiculously anal (actually no I don't), but homophones are one class of the more general term, which is homonym. All homophones are homonyms, but not all homonyms are homophones.
I hope never to type the prefix "homo-" that many times in a paragraph prefaced with a sentence containing the word "anal" again so long as I live. |
