MAAJYAN HIGASHIO
NOW PRODUCTION 1988

Does any know this in the Kamen no Ninja Hanamaru ROM?

No, The ''Yo! Noid'' rom does not contain this.

GDRI is way ahead of you.

"Maajyan Higashio" refers to programmer Naoki Higashio. "Now Production" refers to developer Now Production.

Thank you, The info is very helpful. But there is a thing to ask: Why does it say 1988 instead of 1990? Probably it was it's a date during the game's development. I am not sure!

I guess it's possible NowPro was working on Hanamaru in 1988. I also have a feeling Hanamaru was based off of Wagyan Land, which Higashio worked on (I can't say for sure Higashio worked on Hanamaru because there are no credits). Judging by the release date, NowPro would have been working on Wagyan in 1988.

Well, that would better explain Noid and Hanamaru coming out in the same year.

Wait a Minute.... Did Kero Kero Keroppi 2 use the same engine as Wagyan Land, Kamen no Ninja Hanamaru and Yo Noid? It is Possible that He must have lend it to Character Soft?

Despite the similarities, there doesn't seem to be any evidence that Keroppi and Wagyan share code, but we (GDRI) may look into that later. By our determination, Keroppi was developed by Shimada Kikaku. Programming is credited to Shinji Ietomi and Junya Shimoda (who worked on other Shimada games and later worked at G-Artists).

On another note, Wagyan and Hanamaru/Yo Noid! sound similar. I wonder if they use the same sound engine (which would have been done by Namco staff). If that's true, then a Capcom game (technically) uses a Namco sound engine.
