Whoever has/had a playstation 1 might remember Syphon filter 1-3 at first it was dubbed "The poor man's Metal gear solid " but soon became its own series. well i've noticed that at gamespot uk the images section has pics of the beta syphon filter mixed with the official. to my knowledge only the beta syphon filter 1 made it to public display outside of E3. i remember these pics because when i was six or so i got a demo disc with the trailer to syphon filter 1 but it was all beta footage. If anyone could tell or e-mail a site with more info, it'd be deeply appreciated. heres a link and some pics to show what im talking about. In the link there are
even beta and official pics of the same levels for example compare pictures below

compare beta shots to official shots ( for examle )

50 ( beta ) and picture 2 ( official )

30 ( beta ) and picture 4 ( official )

27 ( beta ) and pic 12 ( official )

IMPORTANT : PICTURES 1 - 26 ARE ALL OFFICIAL PICS, PICTURES 27 - 51 ARE ALL BETA.

EDIT:

A released trailer containing nothing but Beta footage. also I remeber having Playstation Magizine as a little kid and the pack-in disc had this trailer. I wish I knew what happened to it. Probably got thrown away or traded in.

As far as I can tell. The only Syphon Filter game that had anything beta related go out to the public was the first one. All the other sequels have regular release trailers and photos.

The gameplay in this game was better than the cinematics.

I wonder what happened to this version of the game. I wonder if gamesharking will help locate some of the Beta files.
