...well, yes, that's true, but I was lurking on and off long before I actually registered. |

It's so cute when non-game outlets talk about games. |

Awesome! Great job in finding that. Never heard of the comic book though.
Hey, what is Wizard magazine anyhow?? |

I might not have my comic books right, but didn't Gen13 turn into Danger Girl? Are they the same or different? I'm fairly sure they are from the same publisher so maybe the Gen13 game transformed into the Danger Girl game? Just a thought. |

Unrelated books by the same artist. Gen13 was Jeff Scott Campbell drawing Jim Lee's characters, while Danger Girl was Campbell's own creation. |

I had seen the PlayStation Museum video, but the Gray Matter gameplay is new to me. It looked OK but man, Fairchild's character design is so embarrassing to look at now. How was that ever acceptable? |

The Youngblood/Deatmate/Lady Death school of comics made all sorts of terrible things look dignified in the 1990s. I'm convinced this is the only reason people ever liked Strangers in Paradise, for example.
I can also say that Wizard Magazine doesn't have a prototype of the Gen13 game, just in case anyone was wondering. Their beta library consisted entirely of released stuff. |

Aw, I loved (and continue to love) Strangers in Paradise, the art is great and the story.. ok, the story had its ups and downs, but overall it was pretty good. The above three were truly the bottom of the barrel though. |

Strangers in Paradise was awful. I don't think that guy has ever met an actual woman in real life. |

No way, it's great. The guy is actually married.. and a failed musician, which might explain his cracked out ideas. That said, I've sure never seen his wife anywhere.. |

I guess I wouldn't care so much if the press at the time was cumming over how "strong" his female leads were. The characters in that book were not women. I only read through the third trade, so maybe it somehow gets good after that, but what I read was so unrealistic that I recognized it as a high school student with very little experience with girls. |

On a completely different subject, check out what I just found (shipping out a bunch of old comics):
Awwwwwwwww yeah.
So ashamed.. this probably proves that my opinion is invalid, also. Then again, it sucked so hard I've never been able to get rid of it. |
